Reception and Business Support Administrator

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a Reception & Business Support Administrator to join our team in Salford.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Reception duties: meet & greet, answer, screen and forwarding external phone calls, internal/external post, invoice processing using SAP
  • Provide professional administrative support to various functions across the business
  • Prepare / provide data for management information reports;
  • Assist with co-ordination of employee events/engagement/benefit activities;
  • Administer the Company car fleet process- procurement / disposal
  • Management of Pool car booking process.
  • Carry out the administration support required for the provision of Health and Safety and Occupational Health services/initiatives (eye care vouchers)
  • Visitor visa letters,
  • Hotel and taxi bookings, lunch or meal bookings, 
  • Provide onboarding support from recruitment (interview arrangement support) to welcome on first day.
  • Manage the new joiner process - create ID/Access badge, assist in the inductions;
  • Provide administrative support to Senior Management team including General Manager (e.g. action plans arising from internal and external meetings).                                                                                                                    Learning Management System (LMS) administration;
  • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation;                                
  • Undertaking projects/research as and when required. 

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience of working within a Reception or Business Support Administration role, ideally within the manufacturing industry
  • Good secondary level education – minimum of 5 GCSE level A-C including Maths & English
  • Ideally an Administration or Business related qualification
  • Excellent IT skills using the Microsoft Office Suite and be able to prepare detailed reports and databases.                                                                                                                               
  • Exceptional organisational and communications skills with an excellent level of attention to detail (including written and verbal).
