R&D Engineering Lab Tech

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Work in close collaboration with engineers to investigate new designs for precision liquid handling and other equipment
  • Assist in design or improvement of test fixtures
  • Maintain the 3D printing equipment (Polyjet, SAL and DLP)
  • Process freshly printed models into finished parts
  • Need to be well organized an work in fast-paced internal business environment
  • This position requires a self-motivated person with good problem solving skills and displays pride in their work
  • You will be using state of the art pipettes and laboratory equipment.

What You Need to Succeed

As Engineering Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing light and medium assembly, working closely with R&D engineers, assisting in creating text fixtures, and testing new and existing laboratory equipment.  Consistently demonstrate ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities. Support other Rainin organizations as needed for testing and investigations working with automation and manufacturing.  Support and maintain R&D tools, 3D printers and other lab equipment such as Lloyd and CTS leak and cycle testers.  Ideal candidates are organized, self-motivated, fast learning, excellent team players, and attentive to details.
