Training Lead - Consumables Manufacturing Associate

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

• Assuming responsibility for the implementation and continuous improvement of the Packaging Department’s training program under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor.

• Coordinating and schedules on the job training (OJT) and individual online training for new employees.

• Assisting new employees in the onboarding and orientation process.

• Updating and maintaining training records, including training matrixes.

• Monitoring progress of trainees against training goals, and monitors the performance and effectiveness of technical instructors.

What You Need to Succeed


• High school diploma or equivalent required.  Some college experience or associates degree/certificate preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Computer skills desired in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Ability to effectively work and communicate with others is critical

• Quality/Quantity: Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.  Monitors own work to ensure high quality.  Meets productivity standards by completing work in timely manner and strives to increase productivity.

• Teamwork: Balances team and individual responsibilities while contributing to a positive team environment.  Asks for and offers help to peers as required.

• Interpersonal Skills: Approaches others in a tactful and professional manner.  Conducts self in a positive manner when under pressure.

• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and have good communication skills

• Must have the ability to read and interpret written documentation
