Project Manager Automation
In the role of Project Manager Digitalisation in Production, you will be part of the 4-person "Software & Business Applications" team in the Industrial Engineering division. In collaboration with members of other divisions (Automation Group, Production & Process Engineering), you will help shape and develop the future direction in terms of process automation & data management and drive forward the digitalisation & standardisation of the Urdorf site.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Responsibility for data management, databases, software and business applications in production
- You are responsible for the interfaces and integration of production data management, MES and ERP systems
- You development, implement & manage business applications, software solutions and databases in production with the aim of continuously optimising existing (production) processes
- You will take on the project management of larger projects in connection with innovative applications, software solutions and data management systems. You will ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Complete documentation of completed projects in the area of integrated applications & software solutions
We have the following requirements for this position:
- You have a degree in computer science, preferably with experience in automation and / or software development and at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in an industrial environment
- You have a good understanding of and a high affinity for IT solutions, including advanced experience with MES and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- You have good knowledge of database systems (e.g. with MSSQL, ODBC, MS Access etc.)
- Knowledge of the programming languages C#, Net is a plus
- You have a wide range of experience in managing development and integration projects in the field of automation, databases and MES systems.
- Very good change management and stakeholder management skills are an advantage
- You have a strong organisational personality with strong problem-solving, communication and analytical skills and enjoy interdisciplinary teamwork
- You have very good written and spoken English end German skills
