- Managing MX/LA sales organization to meet established revenue and profit targets. Increasing sales and marketing efforts by selectively adding dealers based on their specialty in the region, and ability to add to the business.
- Responsible for coordinating and integrating the activities of the sales staff with other departments such as marketing, customer service, operations, and finance.
- Determining customer needs and preferences and strengthens customer and dealer relationships in all areas of Latin America.
- Obtaining and analyzing marketplace information such as distributor problems, product problems, changes in dealer organization structure, market perception, competitive products, and market fluctuations, trends and opportunities.
- Assisting in product development by communicating market needs.
- Collaborating with the Marketing Communication Team to enhance communication with dealers. This includes increasing monthly communication frequency through emails, expanding, social media presence, and creating simple application videos in multiple languages. You will also provide launch information to distributors.
- Working together with the Marketing Communications team to develop a strategy for event and show participation in conjunction with dealers.
- Participating in product pricing and annual price changes.
- Designing a Product Strategy to have OHAUS be the main choice against other low-cost competitors.
- Leading handling and DSO reduction strategy.
- Providing all necessary documentation to local Mexican attorney and accounting firm for legal filings.
- Conducing Performance Reviews using the company's Performance Review System on a timely basis for all direct reports. Responsible for ensuring that employees understand company rules and procedures. ensuring complete training and development for all assigned personnel.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 6-10 years of sales or sales management experience, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years prior supervisory experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is required.
- Experience working in, working with, selling, or product management of laboratory analytical or industrial equipment.
- Technical knowledge of lab equipment.
- Proven ability to train, coach, and motivate others.
- Commerical and technical business acumen.
- Experience of collaborative working.
