Data Science and Visualization Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

This position has a strong focus on defining and establishing the technical foundation to succefully run data visualization and data science projects as well as enabling global dashboarding on harmonized data.

Your tasks: 
  • Act as inhouse consultant in data visualization area. Provide best practices, educate and coach different level of organizations on the topic,
  • Support advance analytical platform development, promote and educate organization regarding it's possibilities and capabilities
  • Create proof of concept of selected visualization and analytical cockpits
  • Create proof of concept of selected advance analytics solution in one of ETL tool
  • Provide support to the organization regarding data visualization / analytical tool and processes
  • Define and co-create data visualization processes, environment and rules to enable organization successful data visualization journey
  • Act as an ambassador of IBCS (International Business Communication Standards) in area of Data Visualization, promote its values and principles,
  • Develop and run proofs-of-concept, new solutions and prototypes in the area of data science in general to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experienced in one of the BI data visualization and analytical tools like Tableau, PowerBI or SAP Analytics Cloud, 
  • Proficient in English written and spoken, 
  • Experience with ETL tools such as KNIME or Alteryx,
  • Experience with SQL and database design, 
  • Strong analytical skills, 
  • Very good communication and presentation skills.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with ERP class system,
  • Knowledge of SAP systems such as ECC and CRM,
  • Knowledge of common data mining algorithms and their respective application,
  • Programming skills in R, Python, and/or MATLAB,
  • JavaScript knowledge,

That position may require travel depending on business needs (up to 10%).
