In your first role as Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for sales and account management of our analytical product range for designated accounts in the South East region, including Cambridge, Oxford, and London. You start in the UK and then take on an international assignment either in Germany, Switzerland or the US.
Stage 1:
As a Sales Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Increase UK sales within the designated Strategic Business Unit.
- Target specific high-potential accounts and opportunities.
- Gather account and market intelligence to develop effective account penetration strategies.
- Successfully develop and maintain business relationships.
- Report on business trends and area performance to the Sales Team Leader and Sales Manager.
Stage 2: International Assignment
- After a successful first assignment in UK, we will have an international assignment ready for you, expected to last about one year.
- For example, you might be based in one of our locations in Germany, Switzerland or US joining functions in e.g. business development.
- You globalise your life sciences knowledge and push applications worldwide.
Stage 3: First Leadership Role
- Once you have excelled the 3-year period, you will be offered a management position in one of our organisations as the next step of your general management career with us.
- Education: A graduate degree from a university in Biomedical Sciences or Biotechnology.
- Work Experience: First experience in a technical/researcher or commercial (e.g. Product Manager / Business Developer) role within the industry, or experience with a business that supplies equipment to life sciences institutes or organizations.
- International Experience: Studies / work experience abroad or experiences in an international organisation.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel and relocate.
- Soft Skills: An entrepreneurial mindset with a "can-do" attitude, a knack for technology solutions, resilience, commitment, and clear potential for future leadership in our dynamic, diverse, and technology-driven company.
- Languages: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
