- Contact existing customers to upsell / renew service contract
- Answer questions about service offering of the company
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
- Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
- Enter and update customer information in the database
- Take and process orders in an accurate manner
- Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
- Previous experience in telesales, customer service, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools is a plus.
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Persuasive and confident sales approach.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
- Positive attitude and resilience in a sales environment.
- Preferably candidate with 1 or 2 years technical sales experience dealing with manufacturing industry customer base. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
