Inside Sales Engineer

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, our Inside Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing the inside sales activities focused on generating and developing leads that convert to sales opportunities by identifying new suspects, nurturing prospects, and supporting field sales. Your additional responsibilities will include: 
  • Developing leads by researching new companies, new contacts, contact history, and contact application experience based on specific target industry, segment, and application criteria. 
  • Executing inside sales campaigns and providing immediate visibility for all leads to the local account management and technical application consultant teams. 
  • Supporting and executing various product and application campaign initiatives to increase the number of quality leads passed to the field. 
  • Supporting, communicating, and building effective relationship with field sales and collaborating with account managers. 
  • Building rapport with prospects through phone, online chat, and email communication.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering, or equivalent working experience. 
  • Experience in sales and research is desired. 
  • A foundational understanding of process development and chemistry.
  • Experience using AI tools. 
  • Ability to successfully work in both small and large teams. 
  • SAP experience is a plus.
