Responsibilities:
- Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand Automation needs and systems requirements.
- Responsible for inception and design the application.
- Preparation of final solutions aligned with customers requirement.
- Conversant with Industrial Automation products like: PLC, DCS, Sensors, Material Handling, etc
- PLC Programing and process knowledge with respect to applications
- Adapt and follow MT Global guidelines for Weighing Device to PLC integrations, modify sample codes to suit customer requirements
- Preparation of BOQs/BOMs, Solution Architecture design.
- Solution implementation, DEMO or POC and system integration.
- Provides expertise and support to sales teams for automation products and services
- Represent Mettler Toledo in different forums and pre-bid meetings/ Seminar/demo
- Flexible in supporting team to meet the sales team’s deadline to the clients.
- Develop new applications periodically and share new applications' success stories
- Propose first time right, Product/solution/application by leveraging existing standard products and make proposal to product manager and SBU head for Product gaps.
- Provide automation product/application training to sales & refresher trainings
- Qualifications and Technical Skills:
- BE/Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics
- 5-6 years experience
- Worked with System integrators/Automation companies
- Experience with PLC- weighing devices integration will be an added advantage
- Handled Automation projects independently
