Due to the expansion of our international sales team located in Barcelona (Spain) and for our instrumentation division for Laboratories, we are looking for an experienced Market Manager to manage our sales operations by travelling and closely supporting our network of selected global distributors and partners located North Africa (Moroco, Algeria, Tunisia, Cote D'Iviore and Nigeria).
The main objective of the position is to drive sales growth of our Laboratory instrumentation portfolio in the assigned African markets, developed locally with our partners (distributors) located in the different African markets. In this role, you will focus on Mettler Toledo’s laboratory solutions, including laboratory balances, moisture analysis solutions, pH instruments, titrators, densimeters and refractometers, among others.
Our global distributors and partners operate in the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and engineering sectors. Your responsibilities will include providing product information, recommending the best technical solutions, creating and following up on pricing quotes, and supporting our distributors/partners throughout the sales cycle.
Tasks:
• Boost sales/market share growth through established partners (distributors) in the life sciences sector, supporting them according to results and with the best possible strategy for each.
• Evaluate, develop and implement specific growth plans according to the potential detected in the different markets/countries, supporting them in key projects.
• Implementation of Mettler Toledo's Marketing/Commercial strategy through the commercial teams of partners/distributors, encouraging them to develop a commercial approach to value selling, implementing specific commercial programs: seminars, customer trainings, etc.
• Support partners in launching local marketing campaigns.
• Management of the Key Accounts of the assigned countries, in coordination with our global KA teams, ensuring that the key accounts in the countries assigned to you, are properly managed.
• Ensure that our partners' sales teams keep their knowledge of our solutions up to date, proposing and managing training/activities.
• Support, if necessary, the departments involved in billing and collection.
