Mettler Toledo is currently looking for a field sales representative for the "Process Analytics" division. In this area, the focus is on developing and delivering analysis solutions for the process industry. This includes products that measure and control several analytical parameters in process liquids (pH, DO, CO2...), for water quality (TOC, Conductivity, Ozone...) and in gases (O2, CO2, CO...). The measurements are made in real time to ensure efficiency and quality in manufacturing processes. The PRO team works closely with the customers to understand their needs and offer tailor-made solutions that help optimize their production.
We are looking for someone who is stationed in Denmark, Jutland or Copenhagen. You will be part of the Nordic sales team of about 9 people. The customers are scattered across Sweden, Norway and Denmark and operate in various industries (pharma, chemical, food, energy, etc.). The person we are looking for will be responsible for the customers in Denmark. As a field sales representative, you should plan your time effectively to get your days together and conduct physical customer visits. Since the job requires traveling, you need to be comfortable driving long distances on your own and stay away from home during days and nights. We work towards clear KPIs, which include a sales target and the number of customer visits, and we are therefore looking for a person who is motivated by these goals. Being a salesperson in the PRO division also means managing long sales cycles of 6-12 months, which require qualities such as perseverance and patience.
The tasks include:
• Develop and promote sales by creating long-term customer relationships
• Plan and carry out physical and digital customer meetings
• Collaborate with technical specialists and sales colleagues to drive the sales process
• Organize, plan, administer, and schedule your sales activities to ensure effective coverage of your accounts and territory
• Work in the CRM system in an efficient way to manage customer interactions, follow up on business opportunities and make sales forecasts
• Committed work towards setting KPIs regarding customer meetings, budget and “cross leads.”
