- Encompass a range of activities centered around customer engagement, lead generation, and sales closing.
- Prospecting for and identifying new leads through outbound calls, emails, and inbound inquiries, thoroughly understanding customer needs, and tailoring sales pitches accordingly.
- Building strong relationships with existing clients, upselling and cross-selling products, providing product e-demonstrations, negotiating pricing and terms, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
- Maintain accurate customer records, track sales activities using CRM tools, and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize strategies and pipeline management.
Specific Roles:
- Conduct outbound prospecting and qualify inbound leads to develop a robust sales pipeline.
- Manage sales cycles from initial contact to contract closure, coordinating closely with marketing and field sales teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements and feedback are communicated and addressed.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals.
- Continuously update product knowledge to provide relevant information and value to customers.
- Provide timely reports on pipeline status, market trends, and competitor activity to sales leadership.
- Degree/Diploma in any discipline preferably in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a technical sales environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach.
- Understanding of sales & distribution with intermediate project management skills.
