Senior Shipper

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As our Senior Shipper, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate shipment of products, both domestically and internationally. This position is responsible for the full shipping process, including picking, packing, labeling, and documentation using SAP, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards, including hazardous material handling. You will collaborate closely with logistics carriers and internal teams to meet delivery deadlines and maintain high standards of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Preparing shipments for domestic and international orders, ensuring accurate packing, labeling, and documentation. 
  • Using SAP to process deliveries timely to meet customer delivery dates, including monitoring shipment status daily. 
  • Picking all items on delivery pick lists accurately and efficiently and verifying order accuracy before shipping. 
  • Preparing and providing necessary paperwork for international shipments such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and important licenses. 
  • Adhering to all DOT/IATA regulations and managing hazardous material shipments with required certifications. 
  • Coordinating pickups and shipments with carriers, such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL. 
  • Posting goods issued by the end of the day. 
  • Packaging calibrated equipment.

What You Need to Succeed

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in shipping. 
  • Proficiency in SAP strongly preferred. 
  • Active DOT/IATA certification. 
  • Familiarity with LEAN principles and shipping/stockroom operations. 
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm in Billerica, MA. Overtime as needed.
