Marketing Communications and Content Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

To strengthen our Marketing Communications team for the Business Unit Analytical Instruments at our global operational headquarters in Nänikon near Zurich, we are looking for an experienced and creative Marketing Communications and Content Specialist (100%).

Due to an increasingly dynamic product roadmap and a higher cadence of product launches and updates, this role plays an important part in ensuring clear, customer focused and high-quality communication across multiple initiatives.

In this role, you will develop impactful content and marketing campaigns that translate complex technical solutions into compelling stories for our global customers and sales teams.

Your responsibilities:
  • Develop high quality content that translates complex technical features into clear and compelling customer focused storylines across the B2B customer journey.
  • Create content and messaging that supports global demand generation initiatives and enables our international sales organization.
  • Support product launches and marketing initiatives by creating and coordinating communication assets across multiple channels.
  • Closely collaborate with Product Management and subject matter experts to position new products and solutions effectively in the market.
  • Coordinate internal and external partners such as graphic designers, photographers, video producers and digital specialists to deliver impactful marketing assets.
  • Take an active coordination role across international and remote contributors to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
  • Manage campaign planning, content creation and project execution while ensuring timelines, budgets and KPIs are met.
  • Monitor campaign performance and continuously improve reach, engagement and lead quality.
  • Ensure consistent linguistic and content quality across marketing materials before publication.
  • Identify new communication formats, tools and trends to further strengthen customer engagement and marketing effectiveness.

What You Need to Succeed

Your profile:
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field, ideally combined with exposure to scientific or technical environments.
  • Around 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing communications, content marketing or an agency environment.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical or scientific topics into clear and engaging customer communication.
  • Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills with very strong English proficiency for digital and print communication.
  • Experience in coordinating marketing projects across multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several initiatives in parallel.
  • High attention to detail and a strong quality mindset.
  • Hands on and reliable working style combined with a proactive approach.
  • Collaborative personality with strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Interest in new marketing technologies, communication formats and emerging trends.
  • Background in chemistry or biochemistry is considered a plus but not required.
