Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Role/Purpose:

Prep work weldments from engineering drawings utilizing band saws, drill press, hand grinders, and TIG/MIG welding stainless steel. Press brake and sheet metal experience required. Can perform all duties of a Welder 1.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to assemble weldments from drawings
Fabricate sheet metal bins, enclosures, covers
Operation of a TIG/MIG welder, setup, and maintenance
Operate drill press, and band saw
Utilize hand grinders/sanders to perform grain finishing
Control raw material inventory utilizing shop routers and computer
Cut raw material per engineering drawings
Group required parts prescribed in BOM
Weld and setup sub-assemblies for welders
Follow SOP and OPLs
Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient blueprint and tape measure knowledge, with attention to dimensions and tolerances
Fabrication shop practices
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time
Capable of performing all Welder I tasks when necessary
Organizational proficiency

This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.

**OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.**

Minimum Education / Experience Required:

High school diploma or equivalent
Trade School or Apprentice Program or a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in similar position
