- Call on customers to advise them of available products and services offerings.
- Entry of sales leads for external sales pursuit; and pursuit of select open leads for closure.
- Qualify sales leads by assessing need, budget, and buying authority.
- Effective nurturing of leads; building relationships by conducting ongoing, informative dialog that helps qualified prospects who are not yet sales-ready.
- Assist manager and senior management by providing monthly updates about recurring business issues that require a proactive approach.
- Assure database integrity by validating and correcting the data housed within CRM, sales, and service databases at every practical opportunity.
- Track all outbound and inbound calls in SAP and capture specific customer and product details related to the call.
- High School degree or equivalent, in combination with a minimum of 2 years direct experience in a customer service or sales operation.
- Prior experience working in a call center environment or related telephone call operation is desired.
- Ability to key a minimum of 40 WPM with accuracy.
- A proactive approach to interpreting the customer’s requirements and assist in addressing the customer’s needs.
