Customer Outreach Representative

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a Customer Outreach Representative for our Mississauga location primarily responsible for generating leads to sell service contracts via outbound call campaigns. Responsible for executing targeted and planned ibase marketing campaigns, prospecting, and nurturing new contract sales leads by utilizing the telephone, e-mail, Internet, and other available technologies. You will work closely with the Service sales team and the Field Operations teams to confirm site specific requirements and gathering asset information when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Call on customers to advise them of available products and services offerings.
  • Entry of sales leads for external sales pursuit; and pursuit of select open leads for closure.
  • Qualify sales leads by assessing need, budget, and buying authority. 
  • Effective nurturing of leads; building relationships by conducting ongoing, informative dialog that helps qualified prospects who are not yet sales-ready. 
  • Assist manager and senior management by providing monthly updates about recurring business issues that require a proactive approach.
  • Assure database integrity by validating and correcting the data housed within CRM, sales, and service databases at every practical opportunity.
  • Track all outbound and inbound calls in SAP and capture specific customer and product details related to the call.

What You Need to Succeed

  • High School degree or equivalent, in combination with a minimum of 2 years direct experience in a customer service or sales operation.
  • Prior experience working in a call center environment or related telephone call operation is desired. 
  • Ability to key a minimum of 40 WPM with accuracy.
  • A proactive approach to interpreting the customer’s requirements and assist in addressing the customer’s needs.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
