- Perform routine laboratory mass measurements
- Analyze measurement data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Ensure compliance with industry and basic metrology standards and quality management system requirements
- Document and report measurement and calibration results
- Perform Maintenance and performance qualifications on testing equipment
- When necessary and/or needed, adjustments on any out of tolerance weights
- Ensuring the traceability and validity of mass measurements
- Segregating and Identifying any out of tolerance or suspect weights
- Experience or basic understanding with calibration and measurement systems
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO/IEC 17025 and basic metrology
- Understanding or experience of Excel
- Understanding or experience with equipment databases
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Prior experience in a laboratory or quality environment
- Knowledge of quality management systems
- Basic understanding of a calibration report
- Understanding of regulatory requirements
