Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Analyse, evaluate and implement custom developments in SAP (mainly CRM) according to the specifications and the ABAP Development processes. 
  • Write technical designs 
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis. 
  • Present strong ownership of driven changes, support delivery, and make sure that change properly goes through its lifecycle.
  • Ensure adherence to our development operating model and guidelines as well as best practices (code quality, performance optimization, Documentation Quality). Actively participate the Code Quality review process.
  • Be a strong partner for your counterparts in the functional Product teams to implement the business needs.  
  • Provide status updates to Product owner and respective Stakeholders; Timely escalation of issues to avoid delivery delay.              Project Lead for OMS and PreSales Developer teams (upto 30%) 
  • Responsible for project implementation, risk management and quality assurance
  • Task planning and execution of the software team 
  • Monitor team and project in accordance with project planning and handle issues that may arise.
  • Delivery software within scheduled timeframe – keeping team focused 
  • Remove barriers to execution - address/communicate the issues effectively so that the team remain focused on the objectives.
  • Report project progress status to Senior Management and project stakeholders
  • Instills best practices for software development and documentation.
  • Proactive in identifying Project Risks
  • Bring in innovative ideas to reduce redundancy, reduce technical debt, improve efficiency. Automate when possible.
  • Manage team's effectiveness, motivate the team, track productivity and effectiveness of the team
  • Create onboarding plans, coach and mentor new hires
  • Identify areas of upskilling for self and people.
  • Exhibit excellent team spirit and good communication
  • Contribute to the SWDC Project Lead Community of Practice

What You Need to Succeed

Specification
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (CSE, IT, or relevant fields) or equivalent
Years of Professional Experience
  • More than 5 years of SAP CRM development experience.
  • Experience with complex implementation and support projects, at least one international full-cycle implementation projects (preferable)
Knowledge of 
  • Strong working knowledge on Component Workbench, BOL & GENIL, AET Tool, CRM EVENTs, CRM Actions.
  • Strong knowledge on ABAP Object Oriented concepts, SAP Enhancement concepts, BADIs, Interfacing technologies (Proxy, IDOC, ODATA) and BDOCs. 
  • Good to have knowledge on SAP Cloud platform and programing model (BTP).
  • Knowledge on HANA (ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) - is plus. 
  • Excellent analytical, debugging skills and Problem-Solving skills
  • Experience in IPC development is a plus
  • Good knowledge in service and support processing is a plus
  • Understanding on Agile development process – is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proactive and communicative team player with a critical, yet result-oriented and willingness to learn, Self-motivated, positive attitude. 
  • Very good English skills (written and spoken)
