Administrative Support Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler Toledo is looking for an Administrative Support Specialist for its Columbus, Ohio location to provide essential support to the leadership team, playing a key role in ensuring smooth operations and the successful execution of critical administrative projects. What You'll Do:
  • Provide comprehensive support to the GM, HR, and leadership team.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintain confidential employee records.
  • Lead and coordinate employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
  • Plan and manage local and international travel logistics, including visas and passports.
  • Organize and support meetings and events, handling logistics, presentations, and communications.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as mail handling, office supplies, and SharePoint site maintenance.
  • Support various HR-related tasks like interview scheduling, leave management, and benefits assistance.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college is preferred, along with three to five years of administrative support experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Proficiency in Office 365 products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook  
  • Dependable, reliable, on-time and very detail oriented. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment a plus.
