- Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Computer Science or related fields.
- At least 12 years of experience leading product development teams.
- Strong technical knowhow in the domain areas we operate in will be a plus.
- Lead solutions for platforms like Cloud, Microsoft, Linux, etc.
- Lead cloud, microservices and/or embedded systems and software solutions.
- Experience in handling matrixed organizations.
- Ability to provide technology leadership & direction.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams and customer stakeholders.
- Experience in SAFe Agile transformation will be a plus.
- Ability to travel internationally 10% of the time.
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills with the ability to build and optimize team performance and development to fulfill the organizational objectives.
- Be responsible for all areas of the Engineering function and quality of delivery, building best-in-class products and business practices to deliver to the customers’ expectations.
- Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all areas of the Engineering function to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards.
- Take responsibility and accountability for the Engineering aspects for respective division which will include people, cost, schedule, and scope management.
- Be part of the senior management team which determines all business decisions of the respective unit.
- Provide clear leadership and inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them to develop new skills.
- Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement.
- Ensure strong collaboration between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and to implement change and improvements.

- Ensure the unit’s operating margins and costs are managed well within the targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for optimal performance.
- Communicate with stakeholders, the impact of market and technology change and potential effects on engineering.
- Work with SBUs to develop and integrate innovative solutions.
- Develop deep understanding of the customer context while making technical decisions and choices.
- Provide guidance to engineering teams on technical and architectural design decisions.
- Contribute to Product Review Board to define product roadmaps.
