We are looking for a person to join our local HR team for the position of Junior Payroll and Benefits Specialist. 

The whole HR team consists of 6 people and supports 900 employees of a Polish company in the field of HR, in accordance with Polish labor laws, rules and regulations. 

The Junior Payroll and Benefits Specialist support the payroll and employee benefits functions by assisting with accurate and timely payroll processing, benefits administration, time & attendance and compliance. 💸⏰🎁

This role works closely with payroll staff, external payroll supplier and HR administration to ensure:
  • Employees are paid correctly, 💰
  • Benefit programs and time & attendance are effectively managed. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in processing payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Help maintain payroll records and HR documentation.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Respond to employee questions related to payroll, benefits and time & attendance.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to payroll, benefits and time tracking data.
  • Support audits and payroll-related reconciliations as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Twój profil

  • Basic understanding of and first experience in Polish payroll, labor law and employee benefits gained during internships in payroll/HR.
  • Fluent English and Polish.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with employees and team members.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with HR systems ( Workday is a strong plus) and/ or payroll software ( Xpertis is a strong plus) and MS Office tools.

The recruitment process consists of the following steps:
CV selection – we contact selected candidates
Phone screening with a recruiter (approx. 15 min)
Initial interview with the Manager
F2F meeting in Warsaw office combined with video conference with other stakeholders. To be confirmed if we will manage that with one meeting or will split for shorter slots.
