Industrial Electromechanical Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

The Vehicle Scale Strategic Business Unit (SBU) drives the strategic direction of our global vehicle product line. The Masstron Producing Organization (MTMS) is our global competency center for Heavy Industrial Weighing, designing, developing, and producing products within the Vehicle and Heavy Capacity product families. The MTMS Maintenance department seeks a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure top operational efficiency by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility infrastructure. This role is critical in maximizing cash flow and profitability, contributing to shareholder value. Key responsibilities will include: 
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing production machines and facility equipment. 
  • Reading technical manuals and wiring diagrams. 
  • Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. 
  • Calibrating and testing equipment for optimal performance. 
  • Performing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. 
  • Working with PLCs, three-phase electrical systems, cranes, robotics, and CNC machines. 
  • Using hand/power tools and material handling equipment safely. 
  • Maintaining maintenance records in CMMS. 
  • Complying with safety standards and keep work areas clean.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Associates degree or technical training preferred; high school or GED with additional relevant work experience will be acceptable. 
  • 5-10 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required. 
  • Must have experience with schematics or electrical wiring diagrams, single and three phase electric up to 480V, and a strong electro-mechanical background. 
  • PLC troubleshooting and calibration/metrology experience is a plus. 
  • Experience with Impulse or another CMMS platform. 
  • Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm and overtime as needed with occasional Saturdays.
